Bring Our Food to These Destinations Under the Spring Break Sun

Have Fun Under the Spring Break Sun

The spring break sun is shining.  The weather is nice and warm.   You have a week off from school, or maybe just a weekend off from work.  Either way, this is an excellent time for maxing and relaxing on the beach and under the sun.  And what could be a better way of enjoying the spring break sun than walking on the beach, playing sports, taking a swim; all in the company of a delicious meal from George’s Burgers?  That’s right.  We couldn’t think of a better way either.

George’s Burgers – Your Ultimate Spring Break Destination

Say goodbye to winter and bring on the sunscreen—but first, make a stop at George’s Burgers. Conveniently located walking distance to the beach and straddling the border with Venice, George’s Burgers of Santa Monica is the perfect place to stock up on great-tasting and plentiful meals at an excellent value. This way, you can keep your spring break adventure going.

Now that you have the perfect spring break meal in-tow, don’t settle for eating indoors.  Instead, take your meal to the glorious outdoors and see the best of what Los Angeles has to offer.  Here are some of our favorite outdoor meal destinations.

The Venice Canals

Located just over a mile away from our location is the often-overlooked Venice Canals. The namesake of the west coast Venice, the Venice canals were constructed by tobacco tycoon Abbot Kinney in 1905. Mansions were built alongside the water of the canals, but with the emergence of the automobile, the canals fell into disuse. As a result, most of the canals were filled up. However, in the early 1990s, the remaining canals were renovated, and today the Venice Canal Historic District stands as one of the most beautiful districts in Los Angeles. Whether it is sitting on a bench or standing on a bridge, the Venice Canals are a perfect place to enjoy your George’s Burgers meal.

The Santa Monica Mountains

The Santa Monica Mountains to the northwest of our store location is the perfect destination to escape the hustle and bustle of West Los Angeles.  Whether it is hiking up to see an amazing panorama view at Tuna Canyon or lazing by the creek in Topanga Canyon, the Santa Monica Mountains offer a relaxing and natural place to enjoy the outdoors and eat your delicious food. Spending an hour here will take you away from your stress, and allow you to appreciate your delicious meal even more.

Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area

One of Los Angeles’ unknown treasures, Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area is a massive 308-acre park with fish ponds, playgrounds,  Japanese gardens, and an unparalleled view of the San Gabriel mountains and Los Angeles skyline. Containing so many perfect places to rest under the clear blue sky for hours and enjoy your delicious meal, it is an excellent destination to bring your tasty meal with you.

Pick Up, Then Explore

Along with these gems around the West Coast, the more popular spots in the spring break sun still exist like the Santa Monica Pier, the Venice Beach Boardwalk, and the beaches itself. Nobody wants to waste their spring break, so picking up some delicious food and eating them with beautiful views and the spring break sun is an ideal way to spend your mornings and afternoons.

George’s Burgers is located on 3101 Lincoln Blvd. in Santa Monica.
